Job Description
We are looking for a speaker of British English at native level, with good pronunciation, virtually free from accent, or with very little accent, to read out loud a set of stories. We will be recording their voice and use the data obtained to create auditory stimuli to be used in our experimental research. Possibly, good candidates would be people who are used to talking to the public in TV/radio settings or who are involved in acting. However, there is no strict requirement; anyone with good and clear pronunciation in British English is welcome to apply.
The post will require the speaker to work in the Psychology Department at Lancaster. We are flexible with time/schedule for the recordings to accommodate the candidate's needs. It may be possible to record over the weekend if the candidate has a full time job during the week or a non-flexible schedule.

Skill Required:

Eloquence, clarity of pronunciation in British English

Interviews will be taking place from 21st May to 24th May.

The successful candidate must be available to work from 28th May to the 24th June. The schedule is flexible depending on the candidate’s availability.

Working Hours: Approximately between 8 and 16 hours in total

Rate of Pay: £11.94 + £1.44 = £13.38 per hour
