TNP, a leading Lancaster based network service company, have a fantastic opportunity for an Office Administrator to join their growing, highly successful team.

This is permanent, fulltime role, with a very competitive salary of £17,500 to £19,500 (plus benefits) dependent of experience.
This role requires an enthusiastic, hardworking and highly organised individual with excellent people & communication skills and experience in an office environment.

Role and Responsibilities

You will have a broad range of responsibilities focused around the smooth operation of sales administrative functions such as:

• Acting a highly professional initial point of contact for customers and suppliers
• Ensuring orders are placed, arrive on time and deliveries are checked in on arrival
• Arranging internal and external meetings and taking minutes where required
• Tracking of customer contracts and assisting with the renewal of these (preparation of sales quotes)
• Ensuring the office is fully stocked with sundries & stationery
• Placing orders and daily monitoring of these orders
• Project support
• Ensuring health and safety obligations are met

You will need to maintain excellent communication with suppliers and customers and be prepared to deal with telephone and email queries. Training is provided.

Person Specification

• Experience of office systems and procedures, with the ability to create and edit spreadsheets and present data
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience of accounting packages e.g Sage, Clearbooks, SAP
• Experience of minutes taking
• Experience of preparing sales quotes
• Excellent communication & presentation skills, both written and verbal coupled with an ability to maintain confidentiality
• Enthusiasm and a demonstrated capability for problem solving, with an ability to identify, prioritise and focus on key issues
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with minimum day-today supervision
• Commitment to approaching tasks proactively with flexibility and completion to a high quality of workmanship
• Experience of managing and prioritising a diverse workload, to meet deadlines and to work under pressure
• Experience of working in a customer facing role
• Commitment to undergo further training 
• Experience in the use and administration of CRM systems
• Experience within the IT/telecoms industry Desirable Application
• Experience of a technical sales environment (ideally managed services or similar)
• Experience in administration of websites/e-commerce
