Job Description

The Global Experiences team at Lancaster University is looking for two Digital Content Ambassadors to help showcase the stories they want to tell about the on campus and overseas Global Experiences available at our University.

Pay rate: £7.94 + £0.96 holiday pay = £8.90 per hour
Closing Date: 7 October 2018
Interview Date: 16 or 17 October 2018
Duration: 2018/19 academic year

We’re looking to work with the best creative, skilled digital content creators at Lancaster University to add to our Global Experiences team. You will be creating and finding content about different global enrichment opportunities at Lancaster University.
The content produced will be posted on selected University channels. All the content you produce will be credited to you and can be linked to your own channels if you choose. Applicants must be current Lancaster University students. You will also need to have studied abroad for a year or semester and/or been on one of our vacation programmes.
Does this sound like you?
Candidates should have experience creating digital content for YouTube, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
You’ll be adding to a bank of quality digital content including vlogs, YouTube shows, web content, photography, videography, gifs, podcasts and more.  You will have experience in all stages of content creation from research and concept creation, development, planning, and scheduling through to content capturing, editing and distribution.
We are particularly keen to employ students with experience in video content creation including vlogging and videography but are open to applications from content creators of all types.

How you’ll work

You will work approx. 15 - 20 hours per term. Projects will be agreed ahead of time and progress shared at regular meetings. You may be asked to work on certain projects as part of our digital content ambassador team.
