Job Description

This position is part - funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)

A interesting opportunity for LU student / or recent graduate has been developed to support a Lancashire business in its need for market research and planning to expand opportunities in the medical health care sector.

Pay rate: £7.83 per hour plus holiday pay
Due to start - October

The paid  140 hour project will require delivery of research and analysis to identify
• Market definition and opportunities
• Buyer behaviour
• Routes to market
To produce report on the research and presentation of results . The second part of the placement would be the development of a realistic marketing plan and guide to delivery.

Applicants will have and can demonstrate in interview experience of
• Research appropriate for company requirements – through information data gathering and market /customer contact
• Diagnostic analytical ability
• Planning
• Good presentation and reporting
• Online and traditional marketing knowledge to develop and implement the resulting plan
The role will have full support of and regular meetings with the owner manager of the business. Working activities are not required to be delivered on company premises and is flexible to fit around study and course requirements.
Full company details will be given if selected for interview and there will be a requirement of a short presentation at interview

• Interested in the medical sector and personal health
