Job Description
Are you interested in helping staff and students at the Learning Zone Support Desk? We are looking for people to join our busy team;
  • Offering help and support with general, informational and procedural enquiries.
  • Providing first point of contact and support for ISS IT Services
  • Supporting students to use the Learning Zone providing advice on study spaces, training and resources available.

If you have experience of working within a customer service environment, enjoy helping people find solutions, are able to explain technical issues in a non-technical language, and love a challenge then you might be exactly the person we're looking for.

The successful applicants will have a broad knowledge of commonly used IT and a willingness to further develop their skills. Excellent communication and teamwork is essential for this role as well as a strong customer focus to ensure that we provide an excellent service to our students, staff and visitors.

Hours

At the Learning Zone Support Desk we are open 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Wednesday and 9am to 5pm Thursday and Friday. Within these hours we operate a shift rota which we agree with you prior to the start of each term. As a member of our team we would require you to be available for regular shifts.
