Job Description
This position is funded by the European Commission – Unite Plus program
 
A company specialising in CRM and Marketing are looking to recruit a third year Lancaster University student or recent graduate to join their team based in Lytham. The position is initially offered as a part time vacancy, working 140 hours in total ideally as two or three days per week starting as soon as possible, with the possibility of the position becoming full time after the initial 140 hours.
 
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
 
Reporting- completing monthly client marketing reports across all accounts involving Google Analytics, Google AdWords and Magento (this will take up a few days at the beginning of each month). These client reports will include websites statistics, sales data and strategic recommendations
  • As part of an ongoing project it will be your responsibility to improve and streamline the client reports. This will be one of your main projects. 
  • We would also like you to train for and take your Google Analytics certification

Social Media Management - Responsible for social media updates and management of paid social advertising across multiple client accounts. 

  • Part of your responsibility will be implementing systems to help improve the way this managed and creating structured social media plans for client accounts.

E-mail marketing – Responsible for creating and distributing e-mail marketing campaigns in Campaign Monitor for various clients.

Marketing Strategy - Creating promotions and running them for them for various accounts. This will feed into the reporting.

Account Management - Managing communications for our support e-mail addresses and scheduling work as it comes in.

Updating website content – We may require you to update website content on various client websites.

Admin and support - Various admin duties may be required and support for the company directors.  

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, formulas and producing reports.

  • Some broader marketing experience and understanding.

  • Willing to learn and get stuck in with a small growing company. It will be varied role and a chance to get involved with lots of different areas of marketing.

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Some digital marketing work experience.

  • Experience with WordPress and other website content management systems.

  • Google Analytics experience.

  • Google AdWords experience.

  • Experience with e-mailed marketing platforms such as Campaign Monitor and MailChimp.

  • Any experience with CRM systems (we work with Salesforce).

  • Content writing experience – Blogs, social media updates etc.

  • Social media management experience.
