Lancaster Uni Co-op is situated between Pendle and Grizedale colleges on South Campus, and we stock everything needed for life on campus: morning Costa and pastries, lunchtime meal deals, evening meals and a full range of drinks. Throughout term time we are open from 8am until midnight and our core team of colleagues needs to be supplemented up with part time student labour. Our term time colleagues are typically taken from those living on campus who can balance their studies with part time work according to need.
The role includes all usual aspects of convenience store retail - principally replenishment of stock, serving customers and keeping the store clean and tidy. There are also shifts available for our in-store bakery which provides hot snacks and pastries throughout the day.
Colleagues are paid fortnightly in arrears. Pay is according to age and experience up to £12.84 per hour, and this is reviewed each April.
