About the Role 

We are hiring 6 Registration Assistants to support the annual registration of new students. This role includes administrative tasks related to student registration. Full training will be provided. 

This opportunity is open to: 

Incoming and current Postgraduate students 

Non-students 

Note: Current Undergraduate students are not eligible to apply. 
 
Preferred Start Date: 1st September 2026
Expected End Date: 2nd October 2026
Working Pattern: 36.5 Hours per week
Location: On the Lancaster University Campus

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Check documentation in the online Registration Centre 
  • Identify and correct data errors 
  • Scan and upload documents 
  • Manage student flow at the registration venue 
  • Support online pre-registration queries 
  • Assist students via email, LibChat, and phone 
  • Print University ID cards 
  • Help with in-person ‘Right to Study’ checks 
  • Provide general administrative support
