Role & Department Overview

The Lancaster University Psychology Department is undertaking an innovative curriculum storyboarding project to aid module and programme development, enhance student knowledge of their learning journey, by creating engaging visual resources for prospective students.

Storyboarding is an educational design approach that helps educators map learning outcomes, skills, content, assessments, and activities across a module or programme. It allows teaching teams to identify gaps and overlaps, improve the sequencing of topics, and create learner-centred pathways through a programme. The approach has been supported by Lancaster University's Centre for Educational Development and Enhancement (CEDA), and initial work has already been piloted successfully within the department.

We are seeking one or more motivated candidates to support this project. Working alongside academic staff, the successful candidate(s) will help translate module and programme content into clear, engaging, and visually appealing storyboards. The outputs will support curriculum review, programme development, student engagement, and recruitment activities.

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to:
  • contribute directly to the design and enhancement of psychology education in a fun and collaborative way
  • gaining valuable experience in curriculum development, educational design, project management, and stakeholder engagement.

Preferred Start Date: 22nd June 2026
Expected End Date: 31st July 2026
Interview Date: 16th June 2026
Working Pattern: Variable (128 Hours in total)
Location: On the Lancaster University Campus and Remote
