The Students’ Union Events Team is responsible for planning
and delivering a diverse programme of events that support student engagement,
community, and belonging. Working closely with student groups, university
departments, external partners, and internal SU services, the team delivers
everything from Welcome Week and major annual events to society showcases,
campaigns, and social activities. The department is collaborative, creative,
and student‑focused, with a strong emphasis on providing inclusive, safe, and
enjoyable experiences for all students. Events Crew Members are a key part of
the team, providing essential operational support and helping bring events to
life.
