Role & Department Overview

To support the Digital Adoption team to implement consistent departmental information pages for teaching on Moodle, the University’s Virtual Learning Environment. This will include working with Faculty Education Service Managers,  Student Programmes Officers and Digital Media Specialists on content, improving accessibility and building the departmental Moodle Key Facts pages.
 

Pay Rate: £14.02 per hour plus £1.69 holiday pay

Start Date: 2nd June 2026

End Date: 25th September 2026

Interview Date: 1st June 2026

Job Description

  • Rebuild departmental pages on Moodle, ensuring consistent accessible and engaging course content 
  • Support academic staff in adoption of the new Moodle Template 
  • Support professional service staff staff to build consistent, accessible and engaging information pages for departments 
  • Document the steps in rebuilding courses and making content accessible for use by the wider project team 
  • Quality assess new template setup and associated content in line with programme specification 

Person Specification

  • Strong organizational and digital content management skills
  •  Experience working with online learning or content management platforms
  •  Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a digital education team
  •  Attention to detail and a commitment to quality in educational content
  •  Ability to work professionally with teaching staff and faculty teams
