For more information and to sign up see the following link GROW Your Future | ASK - Lancaster University

As stated above, the GROW Your Future Micro Internship Scheme aims to support students with limited professional work experience, therefore priority will be given to students who meet this criteria. This includes students who may have already completed a GYF micro internship.

This internship will be based within the Central Careers Service, working within the Student Engagement Team. The Student Engagement Team is responsible for offering careers support to students and graduates through one-to-one appointments and skills workshops, and also through many of the Careers Service’s extra-curricular offers, including GROW Your Future, Mentoring and the Lancaster Award.

The primary focus of the role will be to update and edit our existing resources and guides to ensure that they are relevant to students and are aligned with today’s graduate job market. Using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Cloud, you will correct any spelling or grammatical errors, review the language and tone of content, and adjust formatting where necessary. All content must also meet Accessibility guidelines.

To make sure that content is relevant, you will also conduct research of employer careers websites, postgraduate course pages and social media to keep up to date with the latest graduate recruitment processes used by employers and how institutions assess applications for postgraduate study.

We would also like you to suggest changes and additional ideas for guides that you feel are missing from our portfolio.
Please note that the start and end date for this role can be flexible and the hiring manger will discuss with the successful student a schedule that fits with any other commitments they may have.
