Role & Department Overview

To support the HR Systems team in the maintenance and further development of the HR Information System (PeopleXD) and E-Recruitment System (Stonefish). Produce HR Data reports and Management information for a variety of stakeholders and maintaining its accuracy and integrity through regular validations
 

Pay Rate: £12.54 per hour plus £1.51 holiday pay

Working Pattern: 36.5 Hours per week

Job Description

1. Main contact for resolution of queries relating to the use of HR Systems (e.g.Employee/Manager Self-Service and the e-Recruitment system).
2. Production of management information, adhering to defined templates and ensuring compliance with information security and Data Protection legislation. This includes data to support workforce planning, KPls, Freedom of Information requests and other ad hoc data requirements.
3. Maintenance of HR Systems including creation of workgroups and work patterns, ensuring individuals are assigned to the correct workgroups to support self-service functionality.
4. Inputting and amending employee records relating to contractual status, sabbatical leave, training records and termination of employment records.
7. Assist with the compilation of data statutory returns.
8. To provide cover for the HR Systems team
9. To carry out other duties appropriate to the grading of the post as may be directed by the HR Systems & Data Manager

Person Specification

An interest in working in Human Resources and an understanding of general HR activities.

Experience of working with data and the ability to present accurate information in a range of outputs.

Experience of working with HR or IT systems (System Admin, Inputting, Updating, Exporting, or Configuration).

Advanced level user of Microsoft Office & Excel (Including Formulas, Mail Merge and Pivot Tables).

Able to use own initiative and demonstrate problem solving skills.

The ability to provide user support ensuring that appropriate communication methods are applied.

An understanding of data security and relevant legislation.

Experience of project working and supporting/delivering process changes

Ability to prioritise own workload to deal with competing demands.

Experience of BI Reporting/Analytics Tools such as Oracle Discoverer, Business Objects and Tableau (Desirable)
