The Opportunity:  

We are seeking an accomplished Executive Marketing Manager to spearhead our creative and forward-thinking team. In this role, you will shape and implement innovative marketing campaigns, drive brand visibility, and support the successful launch of groundbreaking products.

Job Description

As a Marketing Executive, your responsibilities will include: 

  • Developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to attract students, graduates, and staff, aligning with IT Partnering and Innovation objectives. 
  • Leading the design and creation of visually captivating marketing materials, online and offline, to engage the target audience. 
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to prepare reports, presentations, and digital content, ensuring accuracy and consistency. 
  • Leveraging various communication channels, including social media platforms, to execute effective marketing campaigns and promote digital innovations. 
  • Overseeing the advertisement and promotion of events and digital initiatives across appropriate forums and platforms. 
  • Hosting and coordinating high-profile visits, feedback sessions, and networking events to support university business and foster industry partnerships. 
  • Managing and updating web pages and student resources to ensure up-to-date and visually appealing content. 
  • Providing excellent customer care by promptly addressing queries and concerns in a professional and personalised manner. 
  • Effectively prioritising and managing multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders with minimal supervision. 
  • Cultivating a collaborative and professional work environment, fostering teamwork and flexibility among team members. 

Person Specification

The successful candidate should possess the following skills: 

  • Passion for working with students, graduates, and staff, supporting IT Partnering and Innovation objectives. 
  • Expertise in marketing, design, and administrative processes within a dynamic office environment. 
  • Proficiency in presenting information accurately and effectively in various formats. 
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office software, Adobe Creative Suite, and a wide range of communication channels, including social media platforms and emerging tools. 
  • Exceptional customer care skills, focusing on delivering outstanding service and resolving queries and concerns professionally. 
  • Proven ability to prioritise tasks, manage competing deadlines, and work autonomously. 
  • Proficiency in updating web pages through Content Management Systems and creating visually appealing marketing materials across multiple channels. 
  • Calm and professional demeanour, excellent interpersonal skills, and a flexible approach to work. 
  • Demonstrated experience in managing tasks, coordinating schedules, overseeing teams, and organising successful events. 
  • Collaborative mindset, coupled with creativity, curiosity, emotional intelligence, and adaptability.
