Do you love making videos? Do you want to earn money by creating vlogs about student life in the UK?
 
Work flexibly, gain experience and build valuable skills as a Student Content Creator!

INTO’s Central Video Production team is looking for enthusiastic and talented Student Content Creators to film and edit short vlogs for use on our TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube channels.

You’ll get paid to show us what daily life looks like as a student in the UK – and the role is flexible to fit around your studies and any other personal commitments.

The ideal candidate will be active on social media and in touch with current online video trends.

Experience in creating videos or vlogs is a huge advantage, but you don’t need to have lots of followers or professional experience to apply.

We welcome students from all backgrounds, especially those with experience or knowledge of living in countries like China, Pakistan, Taiwan, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Georgia. If selected, your first task will be a 'Day in the Life' project. Afterwards, the team may invite you to participate in additional projects on a flexible, ad hoc basis. Each project will consist of no more than 8 hours of work, and you’ll be responsible for managing your own time.

Job Description

Successful applicants will be assigned to a brief to work on a vlog for social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.

Based on the brief provided, your responsibility will be to film and edit your video using the tools at your disposal (i.e. Smartphones, microphones, Canva, CapCut, etc).
 
You must be comfortable vlogging and speaking to the camera in public, as this will be a key part of the brief.

Throughout the video project, you will work closely alongside a remote project manager from INTO’s central video team. Your assigned project manager will be your main point of contact and support throughout your project; however, the role will require a high level of independent working and self-management.

Your responsibilities will include:
 
  • Planning – creating a shot list, choosing locations and writing a script if needed.
  • Filming – scheduling time to execute your production plan and do the actual filming using either a smartphone or digital camera.
  •  Editing – cut your footage into a masterpiece using applications such as CapCut or Canva.
  • Feedback – your manager will provide feedback on the first draft of your video.
  • Delivery – exporting and uploading your final video following the guidance provided.

Following the completion of your first project, you will be added to our network of Student Content Creators and the team may contact you to invite you to participate in other projects on a flexible, ad-hoc basis.
 

Person Specification

  • A high degree of professionalism and engagement throughout each project.

  • The ability to follow a brief and meet agreed-upon deadlines, with flexibility for reasonable adjustments where needed.

  • Produce engaging and authentic video content that represents the diverse experiences of students studying abroad.

  • Approximately 6 hours spent on each video project (projects are capped at a maximum of 8 hours per project).

  • Effective and clear communication with your project manager.
