Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) is looking for an undergraduate Economics student to become an Economics Student Content Creator in 2026. 

This is your chance to share your unique perspective on student life and get paid for creating content.

Job Description

As a Student Content Creator, you'll work up to 20 hours per term (approx. 40 hours total) on a project-by-project basis. Your main role is to produce engaging, authentic content that shows what it's really like to be an Economics student at Lancaster University. 

You will:
Pitch your own ideas for content you're excited to make.
Create content guided by creative briefs for projects like:
  •  A day-in-the-life of an Economics student.
  •  Answering questions and comments about studying Economics.
  •  Showcasing a student society. 

Person Specification

Does this sound like you?
  • You have experience creating engaging digital content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube.
  • You are skilled in planning, filming, and editing videos.
  • You have one or more examples of content you have created that you can share with us.
  • You are a registered Economics undergraduate student for the 2025/26 academic year, based at our Bailrigg campus.
  • We are committed to representing our diverse student body and strongly encourage applications from both UK and international students.
