Role & Department Overview

The Centre for Digital Innovation (CDI) project team, based in Research and Enterprise Services are looking for a current Lancaster University student to join the team on a flexible part time basis starting over summer. The role will support the client business, BubblX, in building their software application and focus on aspects of AI and Cyber Security. 
 
Role Title: CDI Internship - Apple Designs Ltd
Location: Remote with the opportunity to work on site on campus or with the business
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour + £1.47 Holiday Pay 

Job Description

  • To work with BubblX to understand the business problem and the proposed solution. 
  • Working with the wider CDI team where appropriate
  • Communicate progress with the business and the project team
  • Deliver solutions according to agreed timescales

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a keen interest in technology and a willingness to learn, specifically in the areas of cyber security and artificial intelligence. Experience in specific technologies is not a pre-requisite.
