The Opportunity

We are searching for a new api developer, to play a role in our creative and forward-thinking team. The main purpose of this role is to help develop and support new innovation products throughout the full development stack. The successful candidate will want to work with cloud and on-premise development tools and framework, and be willing to work across a range of emerging frameworks.

The team have a broad range of experience, and are used to providing mentorship and guidance where ever you are on your developer journey.

Expected end date: 14th October 2025

Job Description

  • To maintain high levels of professional conduct, including but not limited to, cooperative engagement in tasks set, the exercising of initiative to suggest through line mangers improvements to the service provided, and clear and professional styles of communication at all times.
  • Be actively involved in documenting ‘standard’ actions and other useful/knowledge base items.
  • Maintenance of APIs and documentation for services, making appropriate amends/updates and continuous improvements as and when identified 
  • As part of a team, to effectively support the development and testing of software applications, using an agile project-based approach to applications development 

Person Specification

  • Experience of working effectively in a team-based role
  • Experience of working with technical and non-technical users and of communicating technical information appropriately to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to write code in a variety of programming languages (C#, Java etc)
  • Ability to produce well organised and structured written and verbal communications, including presenting effectively to small groups. 
  • Ability to work independently, developing own goals and managing dependencies, being able to make decisions without sufficient information for certainty
  • Able to demonstrate a strong work ethic, effective planning based on outcomes to deliver excellent results
