Ecojiko is a Lancaster based sustainable homeware brand on a mission to inspire people to waste less and reuse more with our fun range of eco alternatives to everyday household plastic products.
This internship involves providing marketing support to the company including communications, blog writing writing, content creation and social media marketing.
 


Start Date: TBC, July 2025
End Date:
30 September 2025
Interview Date: TBC, likely w.c. 30 June 2025  
Location: Remotely (in the UK) and at the premises of an external employer.
Working Pattern:Flexible, TBA with host, up to 40 hours total

Job Description

Main Duties:
  • Blog writing: Blog writing for comms and Search Engine Optimisation strategy. Ideas to creation. Blog posts will be published on the website and credited to intern
  • Videography: Content creation for TikTok and Instagram, including creating reels with sustainable products using video trends
  • Social media posts: Using graphic design software, imagery and text.

Person Specification

Skills required:
  • Must be registered on a degree within FASS
  • Proactive, self-motivated and keen to learn
  • Creative and willing to bring new ideas to the company
  • Excellent written communication skills in copywriting
  • Ability to create engaging content using videos
  • Experience of using social media platforms and understanding latest trends
  • Basic design skills
  • Interest in sustainability
