This micro-internship is an exciting opportunity to help develop a new internal staff engagement feature for the Student & Education Services (SES) division. The intern will research best practices, help shape the tone and format of a regular ‘people spotlight’ series and support the creation of inclusive and engaging content. Working closely with the hiring manager and with input from Internal Communications, the intern will contribute to an initiative that celebrates the individuals behind the work and promotes connection across the Division. This opportunity is ideal for someone curious, creative and keen to develop skills in communication, project planning and stakeholder engagement.

SES belongs to the group of central Professional Services divisions of the University. It is organised into three main service areas: Education Services, Student Wellbeing Services and Careers and Employability. Divisional teams are responsible for co-ordinating central services and processes to support students whilst they are studying at the University and work closely with academic Departments, Faculties, Colleges and other Professional Services divisions to enhance the student experience. We are a caring community that nurtures talents, celebrates one another’s successes and values the diverse contributions of every individual – this project will help bring those contributions to life by sharing personal stories, professional insights and moments of connection across our division.
