The Department of English Literature and Creative Writing are looking for a Research Assistant to support a funded project exploring loss and renewal in the coastal town of Morecambe. The role will involve seeking participants and setting up interviews with a range of participants and possible support for a symposium taking place in September 2025.

Location: Remotely (in the UK) and on the Lancaster University campus
Working Pattern: TBC, determined by worker and line manager

Job Description

The role involves administrative research support for a project exploring attitudes to loss and renewal in the coastal town of Morecambe. The role will involve identifying and liaising with community groups in Morecambe, supporting and administrating interviews and their recording by a professional production company. The role may also involve administrative support of a symposium to be held in September.
