This role could be filled by either a PGR student or non-student. The position is not open to current Lancaster Undergraduate (UG) or Postgraduate Taught (PGT) students
 
The Exams Assistant will support the main exams team in the smooth running of the University UG exams.
 

Pay Rate: £12.54 per hour plus £1.51 holiday pay
Start Date: 1st August 2025
End Date: 28th August 2025
Working Pattern: 36.5 hours p/w
Location: On the Lancaster University campus

Job Description

The Exams Assistant will:

  • deal with the collation and distribution of exam papers to invigilators assigned to each of the venues.
  • ensure exam scripts are available for departmental collection within agreed timeframes.
  • provide the venue seating plans, additional materials (calculators, graph paper, etc.) and ensure invigilators are briefed about any additional requirements in advance of each exam.
