Who We’re Looking For
We're looking for dedicated Lancaster University students who are motivated to take an active role in shaping the future of the Ambassador Programme and taking it to the next level. This opportunity is perfect for those who have strong communication skills, a desire to further develop their leadership skills and an interest in gaining valuable work experience in a professional environment. If you're enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to representing our university with pride, we want you on our team!
Even if you don’t meet the criteria for all the points below, we would still welcome an application from you. If you have had no prior experience, skills developed in school and in other jobs are quite often transferrable, so you don’t need to have had direct experience with everything listed below. As well as this, the Student Ambassador Programme is committed to supporting you in your development, therefore, in any areas you are not confident in, we can provide lots of training and support for this!
Successful candidates must be available to attend the training day on Saturday 25 January 2025 (times TBC but it will be all day) and be available to work 3 out of the 4 Undergraduate Offer Holder Events on the following dates:
- Saturday 01 February 2025
- Saturday 22 February 2025
- Saturday 22 March 2025
- Saturday 05 April 2025
We will try our best to allocate you to your 3 preferred dates, however, this may not be possible due to availability.
For any dates not in term time, we are able to cover travel and provide accommodation when needed.
Accommodation is on a first-come, first-served basis.
