Your responsibilities will include sharing your personal experiences, leading campus tours, participating in events, and providing valuable insights to prospective students and guests. You will be joining the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) events team, who lead activities such as the Open Day events, Offer Holder Events, personalised visits, Campus Tours and online outreach activities. You will work closely with departments and other central University teams on an ad-hoc basis.
This role is open to all students studying a subject within FASS, and we would encourage First Years and anyone planning to stay at Lancaster for postgraduate study to apply. Full training in all aspects of the role will be provided.
Successful candidates must be available to attend the training day on Saturday 25 January 2025 (times TBC but it will be all day) and be available to work 3 out of the 4 Undergraduate Offer Holder Events on the following dates:
- Saturday 01 February 2025
- Saturday 22 February 2025
- Saturday 22 March 2025
- Saturday 05 April 2025
We will try our best to allocate you to your 3 preferred dates, however, this may not be possible due to availability. For any dates not in term time, we are able to cover travel and provide accommodation when needed. Accommodation is on a first-come, first-served basis.
