Patient and Public Representatives (PPRs) support the design and/or delivery of the Medicine Multiple Mini Interviews (MMIs) during the admissions cycle.

Job Description

There are three roles that our PPR group delivers:
 
  • Testing a Patient-led interview station. This would involve one day of work in early December.
  • Interviewing applicants on the Patient-led interview station.  This would involve one full day of work for the interview days you are assigned to in January/February and would require completion of training in early December.
  • Acting as a member of the public for a communication skills station. This station is assessed by a clinically trained interviewer who will assess applicants as they speak with the PPR group member.  This would involve one full day of work for the interview days you are assigned to in January/February but requires minimal training.

Person Specification

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:
 
  • Interest with and experience of the UK Health System
  • Flexible attitude to work
  • Basic IT skills
  • Available to work on campus during January and February 2025
  • Able to clearly communicate
