Role & Department Overview

This role involves working within a small team in Biomedical and Life Sciences. We are looking for someone to help analyse data pertaining to student engagement. This will include data on both digital and physical engagement (e.g. lecture attendance and Moodle usage etc).

This micro internship is for 30 hours in total (including 4 hours for training) and is aimed at students who may not have had any professional prior work experience and are looking for an opportunity that supports them to develop their employability skills.

Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour plus £1.38 holiday pay
Start Date: 2nd December 2024
End Date: 28th February 2025
Location: On the Lancaster University campus
Working Pattern: Approx. 3 hours/week

Job Description

  • Identifying patterns in physical attendance and attainment
  • Matching online patterns of student engagement behaviour with attainment
  • Communicating and exploring ideas and results with the team 
The data in question will be gathered prior to the internship start date.
