The Company

The Eventus Recruitment Group are an award-winning recruitment firm who specialise in placing professional level candidates within Legal, Finance and HR. As a business, their main emphasis is ensuring all work is done thoroughly and with the upmost integrity throughout.

It is an exciting time to be part of this growing company. Many new initiatives have been implemented over recent months, to include a graduate training programme for recruitment consultants and a new office in the centre of Lancaster. Additionally, the home-based consultants numbers are growing in conjunction with the office based ones.

The internship will be 14+ hours per week placement = total 140 hours. The role is mainly office based support (office located in the centre of Lancaster) and there may possibly be elements of remote working. 
Predicted Interview Date: Mid-October
Expected Start Date: Late-October.

Job Description

The project / placement

This will predominantly be a research project to ascertain competitors' marketing strategies and to evaluate and decide which areas would be worthwhile implementing into the business, based on factors such as success and cost, and ease of implementation for example.

 It will include points such as but not limited to:

  • Research on competitors both regionally and nationally for HR, legal and finance recruitment competitors in terms of websites and marketing strategies
  • Collating ideas of successful ideas to implement into proposed marketing strategy

Person Specification

  • An individual from a marketing & business background
  • Someone who is creative and innovative with plenty of ideas
  • Experience in social media and digital communication.
  • Ambitious, driven, organised and productive.
  • Excellent communicator.
  • Good research skills.
  • Someone who is fun, highly motivated and a self-starter.
  • Confidence and ability to be able to promote brand professionally and articulately
