Job Description
We are currently working with a number of SMEs in Lancashire and looking to recruit Marketing Interns for eight- week internships. Roles are likely to involve reviewing social media plans, company websites and providing general marketing advice. We are also interested applicants with experience in PPC  (Pay-Per-Click) and Video Marketing. Internships are open to undergraduates, graduates and postgraduates.
This internship is part of the EnginE project, which is funded by the European Social Fund. For further information on the project please click here: EnginE Project.

Rate of Pay: £8.21 + £0.99 = £9.20 per hour 
Working pattern:
These will be eight-week internships, starting in July, August, September or October 2019. Positions are full-time, but flexibility may be available.
In your Cover Letter, please indicate which month you would like to start the internship if you were successful. 
Examples of work within the internship:
  • Carry out research into existing markets and competitors
  • Review the company’s website
  • Advise the business on their current marketing strategy
  • Implement improvements to the website and social media strategy, particularly LinkedIn

Skills and qualities required:

  • An undergraduate / postgraduate / graduate of Lancaster University
  • An individual from a marketing background would be desirable
  • Strong digital marketing skills are essential
  • Experience in PPC would be desirable
  • Experience in video marketing would be desirable
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn
  • Creativity and the ability to be a motivated self-starter
  • Excellent communication and planning skills
